During an audit, the customer or company to be certified is required to look at themselves more closely. Reviewing together allows specific areas to be analyzed and examined in more detail. For many, an audit can be exhausting, especially if the client hires an external company. No one has the time, desire, or opportunity to work with the auditor! There is so much potential in regular audits. It would be beneficial if the auditor is no longer seen as just someone wielding a red pen, but rather as someone who identifies and develops potential for improvement.
