About This Course
VDA QMC Accredited PSCR ID503 Product Safety & Conformity Representative OVERVIEW Every organisation within the automotive supply chain is obliged to ensure the safety and conformity of its products. To this end, in the respective countries and regions, current legal statutes on product integrity must be observed, also the justifiable safety expectations of the general public must be fulfilled. With products conspicuously “unsafe“ in the market, or whose conformity to legal requirements is questionable, those responsible are obliged to initiate the necessary actions. In order to be aware of and understand the many demands addressed to a product safety representative, comprehensive information and qualification are necessary. This is the aim of this two-day qualification: it is specifically geared to the requirements in the participants’ daily work practice. The central topics of product integrity are explored, and the competence of a product safety representative is developed in the scope of these five modules. TARGET AUDIENCE Automotive executives and personnel who are to be deployed as product safety representatives or who already hold that position. METHOD The focus is on communicating expert knowledge that enables the participants to handle their everyday work more professionally and in a more targeted fashion as prospective or existing product safety representatives. The responsibilities in the whole supply chain from development through manufacture and use up to the end of intended use are dealt with. After an introduction to the topic the organisation of product integrity, product integrity in the product life cycle, guidance for product nonconformities and examples for tools and methods are discussed. During this training, technical lectures and exercises alternate to support the transfer of the topics into the participants‘ work practice, focusing on exchanging experiences between participants and the trainer. PREREQUISITES To attend this training, a technical and/or business education, and experience in automotive quality management, especially in complaints and recourse management are necessary. Furthermore, the participants should be qualified and experienced in evaluating technical product and process risks (e. g. It does not include accommodation or other travel expenses. ht+a will share accommodation discount options with you if available and recommends booking 2 weeks before an event to ensure the event is a confirmed go-ahead. ht+a is not liable for travel expense losses due to cancellation by either party, weather, flight delays, or other unforeseen circumstances. For in-person in-house courses, unless otherwise specified, pricing assumes the training will take place at the client's location and ht+a will not provide catering. The Client will ensure that the training room will be equipped with all necessary tools including flip charts, markers, video projectors/screens, appropriate furnishings and ample electrical outlets. Sustainability & Materials: - Delegates require an email address and a stable and active internet connection with suitable equipment (computer, smartphone or tablet) to access course materials and, where applicable, to complete online tests and join live video calls. - Printed course materials will not be provided, including for in-person or in-house events. Customers may print their course materials if desired. - ht+a no longer provides publications (textbooks) as part of the course fee. It is the customer's responsibility to procure any supplementary material either as an add-on from ht+a (payment is required in advance), OR from the VDA (https://shorturl.at/fbHJs) or the AIAG (https://shorturl.at/z73jg) directly (all corresponding shipping and duties will be for the customer's account). Due to copyright, ht+a does not provide digital copies of publications. - Digital certificates will be provided. Certificates for VDA QMC courses will only be issued once full payment is received. Certificates for ht+a courses will be automatically issued upon completion of course requirements. Customers may print their certificate if desired.
